Can two computers use the same data?
Are these two computers on the same network? If so, you have to tell each computer to open the shared data location or tell one computer to open the shared data directory that the other computer is already accessing. This is done by clicking on File and Open Data Folder and then browsing to the shared data directory on the other user's system.
You would first need to determine which computer has the most up to date data. You would then make sure the data folder on that system is fully shared on the network. This may require browsing to that folder outside of Intellect and marking that directory as shared (right click and go to sharing).
Then, on the other computer, open Intellect (or Time & Chaos) and click on File and Open Data Folder. Browse across the network to the shared data directory on the other system. Select that folder and click Okay to have both systems use that same data directory.
If the computers are not networked together, we would recommend subscribing to our ChaosHost service at www.chaoshost.com . This is a web based version of Time & Chaos that can be synced with locally installed copies of Time & Chaos or Intellect.
Each system on your network can sync data via ChaosHost.com. This is done by clicking on File and WebSync and initiating the sync process. Please backup both sets of data before attempting any sync process.
