How do I setup Intellect to use my Gmail account?

To set up Chaos !ntellect to access to your Gmail account:

In Gmail's online interface, you must go into your setup options and enable POP access before using email client software like !ntellect.
Go to the Tools Menu and click on Mail Accounts.
Click on the Add button on the right to setup a new account
On the General tab, you can enter an account name for your reference, such as "Gmail".
You can also choose an account color if you are checking multiple accounts and wish to color-code them.
You should also fill in your name and your complete email address in the two email fields.
The field for Organization is optional.
On the Incoming Mail tab, the Server Name/Address is: pop.gmail.com.
Change the port to 995.
Your User Name is your complete Gmail username, including the @gmail.com.
Your password is your normal Gmail password.
Check the box labeled Use a secured connection (SSL).
On the Outgoing Mail tab, the Server Name/Address is: smtp.gmail.com.
Change the Port to 465.
Your User Name (again) is your complete Gmail email address.
Your Password (again) is your normal Gmail password.
The checkbox for Use a secured connection (SSL or STARTTLS) should be selected.
Click on the OK button at the bottom to save your new account settings

NOTE: we have had some reported instances where the user name required is the text before the @ symbol in your email address and not the full email address.

That's it. You are ready to send and receive mail from the Gmail servers now.
